FESTIVE CHOCOLATE CHRISTMAS CAKE 
1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
8 oz. sour cream
1/3 c. whiskey
3 eggs
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. halved red maraschino cherries, drained
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. raisins or currants

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 12 cup tube pan.

In large bowl, combine cake mix, sour cream, whiskey and eggs at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at high speed. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Pour into pan. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until done. Cool 20 minutes or until cool. Turn out of pan. Cool. Then frost and decorate to resemble a wreath.

CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

Melt six squares semi-sweet chocolate and 3 tablespoons butter in pan. Put in bowl and beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 cups xxxx sugar and enough cream to make a soft frosting. Beat until fluffy. Spread on cake and decorate to resemble a wreath.
