NOODLES AND TOMATOES AU GRATIN 
1 c. green noodles (white can be substituted)
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. partly drained tomatoes
1 tsp. basil
1/2 c. half and half cream
1/4 c. Parmesan

Saute onions in 2 tablespoons butter. Stir in tomatoes and basil and simmer about 5 minutes. Add cream and cook 1 minute.

Add noodles to water. Cook 10 minutes (or package directions). Drain and put in a casserole. Add remaining butter. Add tomato mixture, stir. Sprinkle cheese on top and put under broiler until cheese melts.
