HAMBURG MILK GRAVY | |
3 tbsp. shortening 1 lg. onion, chopped 1 lb. ground chuck 2 tsp. salt or to personal taste Pepper to taste 3 tbsp. flour 2 c. milk Melt the shortening in a skillet. In it cook the chopped onion about 3 minutes or until slightly brown. Add the ground chuck and brown it. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir. Add the milk and stir constantly until thickened. Serve over mashed potatoes or cooked noodles. |
