OLD STYLE LASAGNA 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 med. onions (chopped)
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. minced parsley
2 cans tomato paste
2 lb. can Italian tomatoes
2 tsp. oregano
5 qts. water
1 lb. lasagna noodles
2 lbs. Mozzarella cheese
1 lb. Ricotta cheese
2 tbsp. grated Romano cheese

Brown meat with olive oil, garlic and parsley. Add tomato paste, 2 cups water, Italian tomatoes, oregano and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.

Bring 5 quarts water to boil. Add salt and noodles. Cook for 15 minutes. Drain.

Arrange noodles in large casserole dish, alternating with layers of meat sauce, Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese. Continuing layering until ingredients are used. Sprinkle with Romano cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
