NUT BUTTER BALLS 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. sifted flour
2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. powdered sugar (keep back)

Cream butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Add salt, almond extract, flour and nuts. Mix. Chill dough until easy to handle. Shape dough with fingers into 1 inch thick balls or 1/2 moons. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until lightly brown. While still warm, roll in remaining powdered sugar.
