HAVARD BEETS | |
1 can beets 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. beet juice Drain beets and save juice. Mix the cornstarch with the beet juice. Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add the beets. When ready to serve, add butter to hot beets. |
