3 c. tomatoes, peeled & seeded 3 c. sugar 1 lemon slice very thin (unpeeled) 3 sticks cinnamon Cook at a slow boil, stirring often. When thick enough to drop 2 drips side by side from spoon. It is ready to pour in jars. Remove cinnamon sticks but leave lemon, it has a candied flavor. Seal jars with wax. |
