1 c. butter
1 c. cooking oil
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in order given and chill 2 hours. Make into balls, using rounded teaspoonful. Roll in sugar and flatten with glass dipped in flour. Bake 12 minutes in 350 degree oven.
