ORANGE CAKE 
Put 1 whole orange (pulp and rind), 1 cup of seedless raisins, and 1 cup of nuts through grinder. Set aside. Cream 1 cup of butter and 1 1/2 cup of sugar. Add 2 eggs (save whites). blend in 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, the chopped orange, raisins and nuts.

Pour into greased 8 1/2 x 11 cake pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool and frost with Sea Foam Icing.

SEA FOAM ICING:

Mix 1 cup of white sugar, 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of water. Boil slowly until it spins a thread off the spoon. Beat the 2 egg whites until stiff but not dry. Gradually add the syrup to the beaten egg whites slowly and beat hard. Frost the cooled cake.
