LASAGNA 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (5 3/4 oz.) can mushroom steak sauce
1 (2 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
4 lasagna noodles
1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. milk
8 oz. Mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Brown beef, sausage and onion in a large skillet; mix in seasonings. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, steak sauce and mushrooms (drained). Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.

Mix cottage cheese, egg and milk. Alternate 2 layers of noodles, then cottage cheese mixture, meat sauce and Mozzarella cheese in a 12x8 (2-quart) baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6-8.
