PECAN DELIGHTS 
A Crisp Cookie.

1 cup shortening (Crisco)
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cream shortening, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs to creamed mixture and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients and add. Add pecans and mix well.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a. baking sheet.

Bake at 350°F for about 12 minutes.

Makes 7 dozen cookies.
