JODY'S TEXAS CHILI 
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, mashed
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1 can tomato paste
1 tsp. cumin seed
1 tbsp. chili powder
Salt & pepper

Brown hamburger in large skillet. Drain. Add onion and garlic, cook and stir for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, beer, cumin and chili powder. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer another hour. Serve with tossed salad and cornbread.
