HOMEMADE DOG BISCUITS | |
3 1/2 c. all purpose flour 1 c. rye flour 1 c. cornmeal 2 c. cracked wheat (or wheat germ) 1/2 c. powdered non fat dry milk 1 tbsp. salt (opt.) 1 pkg. dry yeast 2 c. or more chicken or beef stock or stock flavored with turkey or lamb Mix all ingredients together. Roll out the dough. (This takes patience.) Once the dough is rolled out, cut it with cookie cutters. Put them on cookie sheets. (Non-stick type are better.) Brush them with a coating made of one beaten egg plus a dash of milk. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 300 degrees. Keep in refrigerator since there are no added preservatives. |
