BEST BEEF STEW 
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. basil
dash of allspice
3 tbsp. Tapioca
2 lb. stew meat
4 large potatoes diced
4 carrots sliced
3 stalks celery chopped
1 29 oz. large can whole tomatoes

In a large pot, mix in order; stew meat, vegetables and seasonings. Add over vegetables the tomatoes and tapioca. Bake for one hour at 350°F. Then turn oven to 300°F for three hours.

Bake at least 3 1/2 hours before mixing.
