APPLE CHEESE CRISP 
5 or 6 med. apples, peeled & sliced
1/3 tsp. cinnamon
6 tsp. water
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. flour
1/4 lb. grated cheese, American or cheddar

Put apples into greased baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon then water and lemon juice. Cut butter into flour. Add sugar and salt. Combine with grated cheese and cover the apples with this mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until crust is crisp and apples are tender. Better when eaten warm and with ice cream.
