1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Wheaties
2 c. shredded coconut

Cream together granulated and brown sugar, eggs, shortening and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add to above mixture in rather large bowl. Add Wheaties and coconut. Mixture will be stiff; you may have to mix with your hands.

Form teaspoon size cookies on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes about 5 dozen.
