VEGETABLE MARINADE 
Vegetable Mixture:

1 can Shoe Peg corn
1 can small English peas
1 can French-style green beans
1 c. chopped celery
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small jar pimento, chopped
1 c. grated carrots

Dressing Mixture:

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
3/4 c. vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

In a boiler, put together sugar, oil, vinegar and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then cool.

Drain vegetables and add to dressing mixture. Marinate in refrigerator several hours or overnight, the longer the better.
