GOLDEN GLOW PICKLES 
4 qts. ripe cucumbers, peeled & cubed
4 lg. red peppers, sweet, cut fine
4 lg. onions, sliced

Cover with 1 cup salt and 4 quarts water. Let stand 2 hours; drain. Mix 1 1/2 quarts vinegar, 5 cups brown sugar, 2 teaspoons turmeric, 1 teaspoon mustard seed and 1 teaspoon celery seed. Boil all together until tender. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
