GRANDMA'S SHOO-FLY PIE 
1 1/2 c. Grandma's molasses
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. butter
1 full recipe pastry in 10x15 pan

Combine first 3 ingredients and pour into pastry shell. Combine flour, sugar and spices. Add butter and work it in with fork or two knives to make crumb consistency. Sprinkle over liquid. Bake 15 minutes in very hot oven (450 degrees). Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 40 minutes. Serves 12.
