GREEN BEAN SALAD 
3 c. cooked bunch beans (hot)
2 tbsp. bacon grease
3 slices crisp chopped bacon
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 med. onion, chopped
Salt & black pepper

Add all ingredients to hot beans. Set aside to cool. Serve from bowl.

Any cooked hot vegetables can be prepared as above. Here in the country we cook tiny squash, tiny potatoes, carrots, lima beans, etc. Place hot vinegar over them while hot. Allow to cool and serve.
