BAPTIST POT ROAST 
1 (3 or 4 lb.) beef roast
Potatoes
Carrots
Dry onion soup mix
Water

In hot electric skillet, quickly brown meat on all sides. Reduce heat to low temperature (about 250 degrees). Add carrots and potatoes as needed. Season with salt and pepper all over. Sprinkle onion soup mix over meat. Add 1 1/2 to 2 cups water and cook for 2 or 3 hours. Try this on Sunday morning and you will have time for Sunday school and preaching (even if the preacher preaches overtime).
