CHEESE AND ONION PIE 
Line 9 inch pie pan with pastry. Grate 1/2 pound sharp Cheddar cheese into it. Cook 2 cups thinly sliced onions in 2 tablespoons butter until golden and tender. Add to pie. Beat 2 eggs, add 1 cup milk and pour over onions and cheese. Bake in 400 degree oven for about 30 minutes.

Variation: Beat 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can deviled ham with the eggs and milk and add to the pie.
