PUMPKIN BREAD 
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg or 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cut up dates
1/2 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped walnuts

Blend oil and two sugars. Stir in beaten eggs and pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients together. Add and stir in nuts and dates. Pour batter into greased and floured bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
