CUP CUSTARD | |
2 c. milk 1/4 c. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 3 egg yolks or 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. nutmeg Scald milk, sugar and salt. Slowly pour over egg yolks or eggs. Add vanilla and nutmeg. Beat until well blended. Pour into baking dish or small cups. Place in a pan of hot water, 1". Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until set. Chill and serve. Makes 5 cups. |
