EGG CUSTARD PIE | |
3 eggs, beaten 3/4 cup sugar 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. vanilla 1 3/4 cups milk 1 unbaked pastry shell 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 tsp. nutmeg Preheat oven to 500°F. Combine eggs, sugar, flour, cornstarch and vanilla. Beat. Add milk and blend well. Pour in pie shell. Butter top and sprinkle with nutmeg. Place in preheated oven. Immediately reduce temperature to 350°F. Bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. |
