CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE ICE CREAM
SANDWICHES
 
Preparation time: 15 minutes. Cooking time: 15 minutes.

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Baker's semi-sweet real chocolate chips
2 round pts. ice cream

Mix flour, baking soda and salt, set aside. Beat butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs until light and fluffy. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts and chips. Drop 1/4 cup dough, 3 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on rack. Remove package from ice cream, cut into desired number of slices. For each sandwich place ice cream between two cookies. Wrap in plastic warp, freeze. Makes 8 to 10 sandwiches.
