RUSSIAN CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. tomato sauce
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 c. green (spring) onions
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Cook noodles in boiling salted water. Rinse, drain. Brown meat in butter, then add salt, pepper, garlic powder and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onions and noodles and ending with meat. Top with shredded cheese. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 8.
