GIANT CRISP CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix flour, soda and salt. Set aside. In large bowl cream butter until fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar until light. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended. Stir in flour mixture, chocolate chips and nuts, until well mixed.

Shape into 2 inch balls (if prefer small cookies make smaller balls). Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet (6 on each sheet). Bake on middle rack in preheated oven 350 degrees 20-23 minutes or until golden and edges are lightly browned.
