3 lg. round steaks 3 med. onions Flour, salt, pepper, Lawry Season salt Garlic powder Crisco for browning meat Cut steaks in serving size portions. (If large party is expected, buy more steaks.) Peel and slice or chunk onion. Roll meat in flour and brown in Crisco in skillet (I use iron). Place in baking pan and top or layer with raw onion. Rinse browning from skillet with water every once in a while and pour over meat. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Can use crock pot if desired. Don't forget to salt and pepper, garlic powder and season salt. Good luck while browning meat. You can pound meat to make more tender. |
