2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. milk
2 c. oats
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt

Boil in a pan all the ingredients except the oats for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the oats; stir. Spoon drops onto waxed paper. Cool and serve.
