SPICED LAMB BURGERS | |
2 lb. ground lamb 1 egg 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. ground coriander 1 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 tsp. curry powder 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind Combine all ingredients in large bowl and mix with your hands until well blended. Shape mixture into 16 patties, each about 3/4 inch thick and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Grill over hot coals about 5 minutes each side. Serve on bed of curried rice, garnish with mint. Serve 6-8. |
