PERFECT CHOCOLATE PIE 
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Stir to blend 1/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 tablespoon flour, 1/4 cup cocoa, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 cup milk. Then add slightly beaten egg yolks, sugar and milk. Cook, stirring until thick. Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla, pour into baked pie shell and top with meringue.

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
6 tbsp. sugar

Beat first three ingredients until soft peaks form. Add sugar, beat until stiff. Spread on pie and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
