LIMA BEANS AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. frozen large lima beans 1/2 lb. pork sausage 1 onion, chopped 1 can tomato soup 2 to 3 tbsp. Open Pit Barbecue sauce 1 to 2 tsp. brown sugar Bring lima beans to a boil in cold water. Let stand 1 hour. Brown sausage with chopped onion. Drain beans, saving liquid. Put drained beans, sausage, tomato soup, barbecue sauce and sugar in 1 quart casserole dish. Add enough liquid to cover beans. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour or until beans are tender. Yield: 4 servings. |
