PASTRY 
5 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
1 extra lg. egg
3/4 c. ice cold water
1 lb. lard or shortening

Mix egg, water, vinegar and place in refrigerator to continue to chill. Cut lard into flour and form a coarse meal. Add liquid to your mixture and cut in with a knife until all flour is moistened.
