FRUIT PUNCH BARS 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (regular size) can fruit cocktail
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. nuts

Beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Then add fruit cocktail with 1/2 of juice drained off. Beat above mixture 1-2 minutes. Add salt, soda, vanilla, and flour, and beat. Spread mixture in 15 x 10 x 1 greased pan. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Coconut should be toasty looking. Put glaze on after bars are baked.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Nuts, if you wish

Combine all ingredients except nuts and bring to boil 2 minutes. Stir constantly. Remove from heat. Add nuts. Let stand 1-2 minutes. Spoon or drizzle over bars while they are right out of the oven. (Start cooking glaze when bars have 8-10 minutes left.)
