FAVORITE NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. ground beef, browned, drained 1 whole bag of eggs noodles, cooked, drained 1 c. chopped green pepper 1 c. chopped onions 1 tbsp. butter 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained 1 (2 1/4) can olives, drained 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 c. water 2 tsp. oregano salt & pepper to taste Brown beef and cook noodles. Sauté onion and pepper in butter till tender. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and oregano. Add the browned beef and simmer 10 minutes. Place half of the noodles into greased casserole pan. Top with half of ground beef mixture. Sprinkle with 1 c. of cheese. Repeat. Mix soup and water till smooth and pour over the noodles. Bake, uncovered, at 350°FF for 30-35 min. Spaghetti can be used instead of noodles. |
