Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large frying pan, brown 1 pound ground beef, 1/2 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped green pepper; drain. Stir in 8 ounce can tomato sauce, 2 teaspoons chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, simmer while preparing dough. Separate biscuit into 10 biscuits. Pull apart each into 2 layers. Press 10 biscuit layers over bottom of GREASED 8 or 9 inch baking pan. Spoon hot meat mixture over dough. Arrange remaining biscuit on top. Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown. Serves 4-5.
