CAKE: 1 pkg. Duncan Hines Deluxe II white cake mix 1 pkg. Royal instant pistachio pudding mix 1 c. oil 3 eggs 1/2 c. nuts, chopped fine 1 c. Canada dry club soda or 7-Up Mix with mixer and set aside: cake mix and pudding. Mix all together until blended, beat about 4 minutes: 1 cup oil and 3 eggs. Add to oil mixture until smooth the nuts, soda or 7-Up and cake and pudding mixture. Bake at 350 degrees in 9x13 inch pan about 40 minutes or until done. A bundt pan can also be used. FROSTING: 2 envelopes Dream Whip 1 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 pkg. Royal instant pistachio pudding mix 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. nuts, chopped fine Coconut Mix Dream Whip according to directions on the package, using 1 cup milk and vanilla. Add pudding mix and 1/2 cup milk gradually to Dream Whip. Mix in nuts. Frost cake. Cover with coconut. |
