BLONDIES 
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. peanut butter chips or semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in medium, heat saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in brown sugar until thoroughly mixed. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Spread batter evenly in well-buttered 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle chips over top. Bake 25-30 minutes or until pick comes out clean in center. Cool in pan on rack before cutting. Makes 16 squares, each 156 calories.
