OATMEAL COOKIES | |
1 c. uncooked old fashioned oats 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar 1/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. melted whipped butter 1/4 c. fat free egg substitute Preheat oven to 375°F. Using a wooden spoon in a medium mixing bowl, combine oatmeal, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Stir in butter and egg substitute. Drop mixture by tsp. onto 2 nonstick cookie sheets. Leave about 1 inch between mounds. This will form 12 equal cookies per sheet. Bake until edges of cookies are lightly brown, about 8 -- 10 minutes. Let stand for about 2 minutes and carefully transfer to a wire rack to cool before serving. Cookies become firmer as they cool. Makes 12 servings. Serving size: 2 cookies - 3 points per serving. |
