5 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour and vanilla. Bake in waffle iron, approximately 1 teaspoon batter per cookie. OPTIONAL: Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool. My Papap's favorite Christmas cookie and Santa's too!
