SWEDISH CREAM APPLE PIE 
2 c. sliced apples
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked pie shell

Peel, core, and slice apples. Cook in 1/4 cup water about 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain and cool. Add flour, sugar, and salt. Beat egg. Add vanilla. Add apples to mixture. Fold in sour cream. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove and add topping. Return to oven for 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. soft butter

Mix with fork or fingers until crumbly. Sprinkle on top evenly.
