SWISS STEAK 
2 lb. round steak
1 medium sliced onion
6 sliced carrots
1 1/2 to 2 c. tomatoes, stewed or canned

Pound seasoned flour (1/2 cup flour, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper mixed together) into cut up servings of steak on both sides. Brown in skillet on both sides. Add onion, carrots and tomatoes. Cover and simmer 1 1/4 hours or until meat is tender. Makes 6 servings. Serve with mashed potatoes or quartered cooked potatoes.
