ONIONS BAKED IN CREAM 
4 to 5 med. Bermuda onions, thinly sliced
Seasoned salt and pepper
1 c. crushed saltine crackers
1 1/2 c. half & half cream, scalded
1/2 c. butter
4 cheese slices

Separate the sliced onions into rings and put into greased slow cooker. Sprinkle onions with salt, pepper, and half the crushed crackers. Add scalded cream and dot with butter. Sprinkle remaining crackers over the top. Top with cheese slices. Cover and cook on high 1 hour, then low 2 to 4 hours.
