2 (29 oz.) cans cling peach halves 1 1/3 c. sugar 1 c. cider vinegar 4 cinnamon sticks 2 tsp. whole cloves Drain peaches, reserving syrup. Combine peach syrup, sugar, vinegar, cinnamon sticks and cloves in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; then lower heat and simmer 10 minutes. Pour hot syrup over peach halves; let cool. Chill thoroughly before serving. Store in refrigerator. |
