CRUNCHY COCONUT CHOCOLATE BITES 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
4 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
12 oz. chocolate bits
2 c. flour

Combine all ingredients in a mixer at low speed. This will form a heavy batter. Bake in a 9x13 inch pan for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. For elegance, a chocolate glaze can be poured over the bars. Cut into squares. Yield: 2 dozen.
