1 c. sugar 1 c. flour 1 c. milk Place starter dough in container large enough to allow dough to rise. Do not seal container, don't refrigerate. Day #1 - Stir. Day #2 - Stir. Day #3 - Stir. Day #4 - Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour and 1 cup milk; stir. Day #5 - Stir. Day #6 - Stir. Day #7 - Stir. Day #8 - Stir. Day #9 - Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour and 1 cup milk; stir. Place 1 cup batter into each of 3 containers. These are starters; give each to a friend. Day #10 - To remaining batter, add: 2/3 c. oil, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 cup sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 2 cups flour and 3 eggs. (Optional: Apples, raisins, nuts, pineapple) Stir until smooth. Pour batter in 2 or 3 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. |
