GRANDMOTHER'S CORN FRITTERS 
1 can cream style corn
1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 tbsp. milk
1/4 tbsp. butter

Sift flour and salt together. Add a well beaten egg and milk to the corn. Stir in flour and salt mixture; beat well. Add the butter and stir thoroughly. Fry in a hot skillet with grease in it (butter). Drop by spoonfuls (it will look like pancake style). Fry until light brown, on each side. After removed from skillet place on absorbent paper towels. Serve immediately or keep warm.
