CUT OUT CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine flour, cocoa, powder, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Chill 1 hour. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. On lightly floured board, roll to 1/4-inch thickness, cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake 5-7 minutes.
