3 c. Yellow Raisins 1/2 c. Bourbon 1 1/2 c. Flour 1 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda 1 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg 1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves 1/4 c. Soft Butter 1/2 pkg. Packed Brown Sugar 2 Eggs 4 c. Pecans or Walnut pieces 1 1/4 c. Candied Pineapple 1 c. Candied Red Cherries 1/2 c. Candied Green Cherries 1/2 c. Candied Orange Put raisins in bowl. Add bourbon. Mix well. Let stand 1 hour. Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. In large bowl, put soften butter, brown sugar and beat. Add eggs beat again. Beat in flour mixture until smooth. Stir in raisins, pecans or walnuts, pineapple, cherries. Drop by teaspoons rounded onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in slow oven at 325°F for about 15 minutes or until firm. Makes 7-8 dozen and can be frozen. |
